You have to try the baked ziti with sausage. I end up getting 1 and it is enough to serve 3 people.

If I could leave 0 stars I would bc 1 star is too much. I don't know why others continue to to go this place. The owners are very rude, I've been coming here for years and still get treated like I'm unwanted, I've struggled to find anything on the menu that is good or cooked with consistency. The prices are outrageous for there "convenience store", there wait times when ordering food are ridiculous for how slow they are, they have a 15$ minimum for cards!!! Not even stores on the island have minimums that high, and they're paying more for rent and get hit harder when the season drops off!After this last transaction/interaction, it will be my last time stepping foot in this scam of a place they call a "Gem".

We love this place. But, you won’t have my business again for some time until EVERYBODY behind your counter has a mask on their face (and with no sneaky nose peeks). That goes for the owner, too. Every customer and employee in your store had a mask on, and you had the balls to talk to me without one?? Shame on you... It’s a circle of trust, and you aren’t holding up your end.

This place is great, awesome staff and great food.

They have some of the best sandwiches in Cape May County. Very affordable and you get that family, small town service. They are close to Sea Isle City and surrounding areas.

I have ordered from this business many times everytime I ordered a buffalo chicken CHEESE steak it always came with cheese. However today not only did my sandwich not come with cheese it hardly had any meat on it. Upon calling the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and acted as if it was my fault because of how I ordered. I ordered the same way i always did. I have to saw as a long time customer to this business I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from there again! For now on I will order from the competition If not for any other reason because how I was spoken to. I have spent far to much money with this business to treated like that!

For a corner grocery store and sandwich and pizza honestly its one of the best I've had thin crust huge slice and IAM from Delaware county below Philly airport we're there's practically a pizza place on every corner great job Gem Highly recommend.

The Gem has very very good food and the employees are nice and friendly. They have large selection of items on their menu and they have an area with tables to eat in if you want.

I really wish this wasn’t the only place around. I’m so sick of them messing up my order. Don’t order sides of sauce or sour cream you will never get it. It literally happens every time. Plus the food is par and over priced.

We were regulars and had stopped coming when food got inconsistent in quality especially on sundays. We decided to try again after 3 years. I used the online ordering which was very convenient especially when we could not get through by phone. The food was ready as indicated. I ordered the shrimp scampi cheesesteak with extra meat. That was sufficient for a normal sandwich. Previously i made a half sandwich because meat was so scarce and would have again without paying extra. Flounder platter was very good and generous. I will cautiously try again with hope the quality is more consistent than previously.

Heard your pizza was great, so I looked online at your menu and saw the Gem Pizza, large for 17.99. I called and was told that the price (for pick up) was 21.xx. I questioned th price and said that the online menu stated $17.99, the young guy on the phone said"oh those prices are all wrong and the website has not been updated in a while??? How is that a consumers fault, honor that posted price, I canceled my order because the guy, kid, said that he could not honor that price. Absolute BULL!!!!!

Ordered pizza fries veggie burger, picked up on time, had to wait another 15 for veggie burger, so ended up with a cold pizza and a 44.00 bill.Always liked this place, but pizza was ehhh after having to wait for them to make Veggie burger, it was all ordered together.

Aside from their excellent pizza, I recommend either a Gem Steak, or a roast beef wrap with imported provolone and red pepper. Those two are my go-to, but never a bad meal here.

Grabbed an egg and cheese on the way home from work. It was around noon on a saturday, but rainy - so they were pretty busy. The sandwich was awesome, and the selection of juice was great, too. I got a tangerine lemonade that was awesome. Friendly, prompt, and price was fair. I will continue to frequent here.

We typically order here every summer and have been very pleased . Unfortunately the last two times have been less than perfect . Food wasn’t as good last time , but we decided to give it another go. We waited 45 minutes for our food when there was nothing was in the grill. Unacceptable !
